Entries are now open for one of the best races in the country, set in some of the finest woodlands that West Yorkshire has to offer.

The Stadium Runners' Woodland Challenge 2008 is being held on Sunday 12th October at Storthes Hall Park, Kirkburton in Huddersfield, in the beautiful woods that really made last year's inaugural Woodland Challenge such a popular race with the runners.

Almost two hundred runners worked their way around the two lap course which makes up the 6 mile (give or take a meter or two) course of the Woodland Challenge. All the runners asked said that they would come back to take on the challenge again. To see what you could be experiencing in October, please have a look at the Woodland Challenge 2007 report and the reviews on runnersworld.co.uk
